Happy V-Day

Today we loaded the truck and soon we are headed up to the hotel to unload it. There is sooo much stuff. This does not include all the lights and the sound system Josh B. is bringing from Corbin College. Wow...26 hours from right now we will begin registration!!! I am sooo excited! Are you nearly as excited as I am?

Have I forgotten anything? I am sure. But it doesn't matter. I really believe God has some great things in store for us this weekend and beyond.

We spent a good time praying for each of you today as we waited for keys to the storage shed. Ahhh...God is good.

You keep adding...we are over 770!

We are FULL!!! But there is still more room.

Wow...1 week from today you will all be getting ready to get in your church vehicles to head on over to Jantzen Beach! What an exciting time. I have received emails and myspace/facebook messages from several of you that have been counting down the days and minutes! How cool!

Today we got a call from the hotel and they told us we are totally booked up! Can you believe it?

Don't worry though. We can put people on the floor and there are some other hotels we can work with too. We are creative here. ;) So if you are not all registered it is not too late.

This weeks progress

* The last 2 days have been filled with ordering stuff that goes on the chairs.

* Josh Mann, our speaker, has been refining his talks and I am very excited with the direction he is headed!

* Still hoping for one more person to be part of our video team (long hours, late nights, no pay, lots of love)

* Check out our artist who is painting Saturday and Sunday and doing a seminar. http://www.thetranspireproject.com/

* I am finally clearing some stuff off my white board to do list!!!

* Name tags are almost done

* We are up at least 60 people from last year already!!!

Welcome to DYC!!!

We are 21 days away from DYC. Earlybird registrations have closed. We are getting very excited about our time together!
This blog is a place you will get updates on what's going on and you can have your family members check throughout the weekend of DYC. You will have the opportunity to post stuff on here that is going on, things you have done, things you have learned, etc. It should be pretty cool.
