Tonight Josh Mann talked about the pain in our lives. We had an open prayer time, and it was awesome seeing the way God worked in everyone. The Lord was totally visible throughout the room this night more than I've ever seen before. People were vulnerable and didn't hold back their emotions, and so many were praying for total strangers as they were led. We want so badly for this to continue when we go home; the unreservedness and heartfelt prayer for one another. God is and always will be amazing!

Attack of the Midnight Ninjas
At our hotel, one of the girl's rooms was ransacked by a group of ninjas...they had teeshirts tied around their heads and silly stringed the whole room and all of the occupants...needless to say...revenge was in order...but the girls were foiled in getting back the "ninja" boys from our youth group. It made for a very fun night following an amazing church huddle...
Spread the DYC feeling!
How great to get away from it all for a weekend, just hanging out at the hotel (playing DDR!) walking along the river and seeing the gorgeous mountains, hugging random people and doing service projects. Not to mention great music and seminars (sex- sicks, poop and prunes, this is just one of them...) to attend. Its a wonderful feeling to be around so many who are going through the same things and being able to bring in your own flavor is a great experience too. God is here among us, among you, what else can we ask for?
Thanx to all who organized this including th hotel who has to put up with a bunch of excited teens.
spread the feeling,

Hey Y'all
Hey everyone, DYC is awesome. We're all having a great time and growing closer to God. We're learning so much, especially at the main group sessions. One of the really cool things is these monologues that Jason Ostrander does in the mornings(he was at LIFE.) He is giving me a new perspective on Bible stories I've known forever, like Pilate and the thief at the cross. The monologues are way cool because they mix a message with acting, and if you know me you know that skits and drama are one of the best ways to get something thru to me. Its all very intense and powerful, and I hope we can come again next year. This is totally one of the best experiences of my life. Love to y'all!

DYC is Bumpin!
No I don't usually use the word "bumpin", it's just one of the many inside jokes we have going here at DYC! This is my very first time here, and I have to say that I'm having a fantastic time! God is really working in many lives here, including mine. It's amazing how much one session can change your perspective on life. The speakers here are GREAT! One of my favorite parts of DYC is when Jason Ostrander did his mono logs. He does such a great job! Everything here is awesome!
Amazing
It is so cool to see how this is affecting people's lives. the change is amazing i think that many people are experiencing something new inside that they never felt before weather or not they are or are not believers in Christ. I hope this weekend last 4ever.

My Brother
hi my name is ELLIE i have a brother named Erik. he is a cool brother. i love him!!!!!! we fight like all brothers and sisters do, well we use to fight alot more then we do now. and it really started to change about 2 years ago at DYC. i relized that i was really mean and i didnt show that i cared that much about him. but i told everyone 2 years ago that i was meaner then i should be and so i changed and like he has changed too but i cant really tell. but my youth leader, Josh, he went to Quest with the middle schoolers and Erik went. well i guess that erik was a good leader and showed God through his action!!! and like we were talking today about Quest and how Erik really stuck by someone when they told everyone something BIG and it was soo cool!!! but what i really wish is that i could see this part of my brother and i havent. it just makes me kinda sad, well not kinda just sad that i dont know everything about my brother!!! so if anyone reads this i would like you to pray that i can see this side of my brother cuz i would love that so much and i think it would bring us closer!!!! and i would love that!!!!!!!!
ps DYC best thing every!!!!

the three stooges
Harry, Curley, Moe,
Moe-I managed to get my necklece stuck in the three way air hockey machine, uhh, yeah that was awsome. And I really enjoyed and appreciated the seminars.
Harry-Got to go to the mall!!!! Honestly I spent almost all of my food money ;-) and the worship was really fun.
Curly- I really appreciated the "how to talk good" seminar, and the worship was really good.
All in all we would like to say that this looks to be a splendiferous week, to see old fiends and meet new ones.

Happy V-Day
Today we loaded the truck and soon we are headed up to the hotel to unload it. There is sooo much stuff. This does not include all the lights and the sound system Josh B. is bringing from Corbin College. Wow...26 hours from right now we will begin registration!!! I am sooo excited! Are you nearly as excited as I am?
Have I forgotten anything? I am sure. But it doesn't matter. I really believe God has some great things in store for us this weekend and beyond.
We spent a good time praying for each of you today as we waited for keys to the storage shed. Ahhh...God is good.
You keep adding...we are over 770!

DYC T-shirts!!!
WOW!!! We are over 750 as of yesterday!!! To give you an idea, last year we were at 618. Incredible!
Last year we had a first and that was DYC t-shirts available. We pretty much sold out last year and we have new ones this year. I think you will really like them. They are those shirts that are soft before you wash them!
They have not arrived yet, but when they do we will model them for you so you can get an early look.
I think they will be about $15 each.
We will also have hats available this year too!!!
Items keep showing up from UPS every day for our decoration. Including a 5 foot dashboard Jesus.
Here is a pic of Krista working on some of the decor.

We are FULL!!! But there is still more room.

Wow...1 week from today you will all be getting ready to get in your church vehicles to head on over to Jantzen Beach! What an exciting time. I have received emails and myspace/facebook messages from several of you that have been counting down the days and minutes! How cool!
Today we got a call from the hotel and they told us we are totally booked up! Can you believe it?
Don't worry though. We can put people on the floor and there are some other hotels we can work with too. We are creative here. ;) So if you are not all registered it is not too late.
